Thomas Carlyle (1795-1881), Scottish essayist, historian, cultural critic, and leading man of English letters during the Victorian era, published Past and Present, one of his most influential works, in 1843. Written as a response to the economic crisis of the 1840s--closure of factories, loss of jobs, the growth of slums in industrial centers, the starving poor--Past and Present aimed to lead readers toward a 'conversion experience' in order to stimulate social reform. 品冠最近忙著製作新專輯，以及出道20週年的世界巡迴演唱會「現在，你在哪裡？」5日他出席美樂蒂展覽，開心地透露，雖然工作忙碌，但日前還是硬跟公司請假，帶著一雙兒女還有老婆一起到三亞度假。

談起「育兒經」，有一雙兒女的品冠滔滔不絕，曾買過5、6千塊台幣的樂高送給小孩，卻被老婆唸說「再買多禮物都已不上買一個禮物好好陪孩子玩。」因此，他有空就會陪小孩。最近最後悔的事，則是太早讓他們接觸iPad。
